33 Week Update

Today is 33 weeks along in our pregnancy. It is almost unreal about how close it is to be meeting our little bundle of joy. In the last 2 weeks I have been feeling cramping and Braxton Hicks (false labor contractions) randomly through out the day. They usually subside when I change positions or walk around. When it doesn't go away by doing these things, it might be the REAL DEAL!!

Chris is enjoying his job very much in Grand Rapids...however it has not been easy living separate and seeing each other on the weekends :( Chris is working at the YMCA in Grandville/Jenison area as the Wellness Program Specialist. He has 6 people working under him and he also helps oversee the front desk people, when his boss is not around.


We recently bought a new Lazy-Boy rocker/recliner...not sure Chris will ever be able to sit in it, because I do not sit anywhere else! Staying positive and thinking of our end result in this whole process is helping us stay focused on each other and our family. We are becoming more excited as the days pass, but also a little nervous about what is to come.

Our preparation has been getting the travel system (stroller and carseat) put together and in the van. Chris put together the bouncer that vibrates and has music too! I have started washing the clothes/blankets/sheets for the baby. We do not have a ton of clothes since we do not know the gender....hopefully later on we will be getting more gender specific clothing!
